Enjoy art and craft exhibition in historic setting at The Croft
Residents at The Croft (www.thecroftbourne.co.uk), a lifestyle living development for the over 55s in Bourne, Lincolnshire, will display their very own art and craft work at a public exhibition.
On Saturday 24 May, from 15:00 until 19:00, residents and the wider Bourne community are invited to visit The Croft to view a variety of residents’ work.
The exhibition will take place in the renovated manor house at the centre of the development which has been refurbished to its former glory. The building offers the perfect location for people to view the artwork.
Visitors will be offered a selection of cheeses and a glass of wine to enjoy in return for a small contribution to an honesty bar fund, operated by a residents’ bar committee, as they admire the art and crafts on display. The residents’ bar committee is a non-profit making organisation set up by residents at The Croft for events just like the art and craft exhibition and is an example of how the positive community feel at The Croft works well.
Maureen Dickens, senior sales executive at The Croft, said: “The manor house offers a stylish yet practical space for residents’ activity and hobby groups and lends itself to the art exhibition very well.
“Like many of our other events, the art and craft exhibition is open to non-residents as well, providing them with a chance to also enjoy The Croft and its restored manor house.”
The Croft provides a range of benefits including easy access and adaptable properties, minimal maintenance, communal facilities and an estate manager on site, while still encouraging residents to live completely independent and active lives.
The development comprises 75 one, two and three bedroom homes, including bungalows, set around attractively landscaped gardens and offers high quality living for the over 55s, perfect for those who want independent, stylish yet secure living.
Maureen added: “Visitors to the art exhibition on 24 May will have the chance to see the manor house at its best and take a walk around the grounds. The sales team will also be on hand to answers any questions potential buyers may have about purchasing a home at The Croft.”
During the event, visitors can also take a tour of the stylishly decorated showhomes on site and see for themselves what The Croft has to offer.
The Croft offers a number of purchase options to help make the moving process that little bit easier. The sales team offers part exchange packages as well as an ‘assisted move’ option where The Croft can help homebuyers sell their existing homes.
In addition, The Croft offers potential homebuyers its ‘secure home purchase’ scheme and shared equity deals on selected plots.
The Croft is a joint venture between Bourne-based housebuilder Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) and Keystone Developments, part of the Longhurst Group.
