Carrington Gardens has been named the winner of a prestigious award

Carrington Gardens – Keystone’s luxury development exclusively for the over 55s in Humberston, Lincolnshire – has been named the winner of a prestigious award.

The development, on Humberston Avenue, is being delivered as part of a joint venture between Keystone, which is part of Longhurst Group, and Countryside Partnerships - formerly Westleigh.

It offers a choice of one, two and three bedroom bungalows and one bedroom apartments designed exclusively for the over 55s and has now been named the Best Retirement Scheme at the National Housebuilder Awards.

Nick Worboys, Director of Development and Sales at Longhurst Group, said: “We are hugely proud that Carrington Gardens has been named the Best Retirement Scheme.

“The development is a perfect example of the fantastic partnerships we have built with organisations such as rg+p, Countryside and the local authority. Everyone has worked together exceptionally to bring this award-winning project to reality.

“We are very proud of the Carrington Gardens development and believes it offers the very best in retirement living for the over 55s. The development is perfect for those who are looking to maintain an independent lifestyle but without some of the stresses of owning and maintaining a property.

“Carrington Gardens has undoubtedly made a positive contribution to the local housing market and is addressing the growing need for over-55s retirement living. We engaged with the local community from the very start of the project and we had an excellent response.

“I believe this is why we have produced a wonderful development and been able to win awards such as this.”

The development also offers an exclusive communal clubhouse. Carrington Lodge is a stylish communal hub for all residents and their guests to enjoy with the advantages of a spacious library, lounge, dining area with high-specification kitchen, orangery and guest suite.

The communal hub also benefits from having an easily accessible scheme manager’s office who takes care of the day-to-day management of

Carrington Gardens and ensures all residents get to know each other with a whole range of interesting activities.
