New Developments
Humberston
Keystone Developments is working with the trustees of the Joseph
Ogle Trust on a proposal to develop land south of Humberston Avenue
for a mixed residential development consisting of 400
homes, including a substantial proportion of retirement
properties.
The proposed development site is located on four fields south of
Humberston Avenue opposite Humberston Maths and Computing College
and Humberston Country Club. The 18 hectare area is owned
by the Joseph Ogle Trust.

The Trustees are keen to ensure that any development is a
fitting legacy to local timber merchant, Joseph Ogle, and supports
the values and objectives of the Trust. The whole team understands
that Humberston Avenue is a very special place that requires a
bespoke development of high quality. The aim is to create a
development that will be in keeping with the local environment and
responsive to the needs of the local community.
There is a clear need for retirement homes in North East
Lincolnshire and in particular in Humberston, as well as for family
and affordable homes. The proposed development will also have a
network of footpaths, a play area for children, and a community
area. Our early thinking presumes that up to 30% of the site will
remain green open space. The team behind the proposal understands
that Humberston is a very special place requiring a bespoke
development of high quality that is in keeping with the local
environment.
A consultation period ran from Monday 27th June until
Sunday 7th August with three public exhibition
events that gave the local community the opportunity to
find out more about the proposed development and speak to the
project team.
Following feedback from the public, an
outline planning application was submitted to North East
Lincolnshire Council on Monday 13th February. Find out more....
