Saddlers Court
Saddlers Court in Melton Mowbray, was completed by Keystone Developments in early December 2006 in partnership with Westleigh Developments. A development of 22 one and two bedroom apartments, Saddlers Court was built for a new generation of over 55’s who are starting to enjoy the benefits of a worry free life.
Thoughtful Design
A visit to some of the residents finds them enjoying beautifully designed modern apartments with all the mod cons, landscaped gardens fully maintained by professionals, single door entry intercom, security cameras and 24 hour emergency call system in each apartment. In addition, Saddlers Court also features a laundry room, a lift to all floors and a wheelchair and scooter store with a charging facility.
“I love the shapes of the ceilings, it gives the place character. I also like the fact that I don’t have to worry about the garden any more. It was getting too much, I would rather spend the time on the golf course!”
Security
With a communal lounge area residents are reassured that there is a thriving community on their doorstep whenever they want it and a visiting scheme manager who can offer that extra sense of security.
“ Everyone is so friendly in here, its lovely to have so many friends around me. The Scheme Manager is wonderful, and goes out of his way to ensure residents feel at home here at Saddlers Court.”
Location
The location is ideal too, set in the very heart of Melton Mowbray, there is no need to drive to the shops - they are just a short walk away.
“I don’t drive, but I don’t need to here. I can walk to all the shops and the doctors which is far better than relying on taxis which is what I used to do.”
Demand
Having a development like this built in the popular town of Melton Mowbray was always going to popular and this was proven when a quarter of the apartments were reserved before the development was even opened.
“I knew the first time I came for a look around that I wanted to live here and that it would be the perfect place for me. I have friends close by, and can walk to the town centre and have all of the local amenities around me when I need them.”
